Italy: reasons to get married in 2017
This statistic illustrates the reasons to get married reported in Italy as of September 2017. According to data, most of the married (60.2 percent) and separated/divorced (52 percent) people admitted that they decided to get married because of love. Roughly ten percent of the married interviewees and 13 percent of the separated/divorced respondents declared that their decision to get married was conditioned by their will to legalize the relationship.
