Brazil: number of companies in the transformative sector 2010-2019
In 2019, there were more than 390 thousand companies legally registered in the transformative sector in Brazil, up from approximately 383.4 thousand companies a year earlier. This is the first increase on the number of companies in this sector since 2013, when it peaked at 446.7 thousand companies registered. Further, the number of employees in the transformative industry has been decreasing recently.
