Italy: social media platforms used by travel agencies 2016

This statistic illustrates the share of travel agents advertising their companies on selected social media platforms in Italy in 2016. According to the survey results, almost all respondents (95 percent) used Facebook to promote their travel agency, while about 37 percent advertised to their customers on WhatsApp. Additionally, about one in four agents used Google+. By contrast, only one percent of respondents used Youtube.
