The number of employees working in the professional, scientific and technical sector in Brazil amounted to more than 1.8 million in 2021. This is an increase of over eight percent in comparison to the previous year, when the sector's workforce in the country amounted to approximately 1.64 million people. During this period, the number of companies and other organizations registered in this sector reached its peak.
