Minor commercial planning decisions and those granted in England 2004-2022

The number of minor commercial planning application decisions made and granted in England amounted to 6,867 in the financial year 2021/22. The highest number of commercial development decisions made was in 2007/08 with over 22,300, of which almost 18,900 applications were granted. Since then the overall figure decreased with under 8,000 decisions made for commercial development in 2018/19.
