Annual yield of jute and mesta in India FY 2014-2018

At the end of fiscal year 2017, the yield of jute and mesta produced in India was approximately 2,600 kilogram per hectare. This was an increase of approximately seven percent as compared to the production volume from the previous fiscal year. In fiscal year 2018, the south Asian nation exported jute valued at approximately 22 billion Indian rupees.
