Monthly number of users of the subway system in Barcelona in 2020
The monthly number of passengers of the subway in the Spanish city of Barcelona plummeted during most of 2020 due to the measures taken in order to control de COVID-10 pandemic. In April 2019, approximately 3.2 thousand individuals used the subway system of Barcelona, which represented the lowest figure of the year, and a decrease of over 30 thousand passengers compared to two months prior.
