Annual development IBEX 35 Index 2005-2023
The Spanish IBEX 35 stock market closed at 10102.1 index points at the end of 2023. The development of the IBEX 35 stock market index has experienced major fluctuations during the period under consideration. Since the very sharp decline in 2012, it noted a tentative increase, never yet reaching the pre-recession levels. In 2007, before plummeting as the crisis wreak havoc on the Spanish economy, the IBEX 35 recorded a record of 15,182 index points.
