Chile: planted area of sugar beet 2013-2019

During the crop year 2017/18, the area planted with sugar beet in Chile amounted to 12.92 thousand hectares, a significant decrease of more than 40 percent from 21.67 thousand hectares recorded during the previous crop year. This is also the smallest land area planted with sugar beet recorded in the country since 2013.
