This statistic shows the number of employed full-time natural and social science professionals in the United Kingdom (UK) from April 2018 to March 2019, by occupation. In this period there were approximately 89 thousand full-time biological scientists and biochemists employed in the United Kingdom. This was more than those employed full-time as social and humanities scientists, which amounted to roughly 26 thousand.
