The statistics shows the volume of revenue of the four main listed real estate investment companies (SOCIMI) in Spain in the first quarter of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016. The four large SOCIMIs quoted increased significantly their revenue in the first quarter of 2016 in relation to the previous year.

Societies are listed on the regulated market and enjoy very favorable tax treatment. These listed companies are the result of adapting the European regulations applicable to REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) to the Spanish market.
