Domestic WEEE: collection objectives in Spain 2022

This statistic presents the minimum objectives of separate collection of domestic waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Spain for 2022, broken down by category. The target set for small appliances in 2022 surpassed 75 thousand metric tones, whereas the small computer and telecommunications equipment objective did not exceed 18 thousand metric tones.

Article 29 of Royal Decree 110/2015, of February 20, on waste electrical and electronic equipment, states in its first paragraph that "Before February 28 of each year, from the data received from the Integrated Industrial Registry on the EEE placed on the market in previous years, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment will publish the minimum state objectives of separate collection by categories, professional or domestic use, for the annual compliance period which will be the calendar year of concerned, expressed in kilograms or tonnes31.146".
