Room occupancy rates in Spain 2010-2020
The room occupancy of accommodation establishments in Spain dropped by more than 40 percent in 2020, after standing above 67.2 percent a year earlier—the highest number in recorded in the entire decade. In April 2020, the hotel industry in Spain came to a halt, recording a room occupancy rate of zero percent.
