The source also provides the following information: 'Household net saving is defined as the subtraction of household consumption expenditure from household disposable income plus the change in net equity of households in pension funds. Household savings is the main national source of funds to finance capital investments, a major boost for long-term economic growth. This indicator is measured as a percentage of household disposable income. The data are presented in the 2008 System of National Accounts (SNA 2008) for all countries except Chile, Japan and Turkey (1993 SNA).'
