This statistic illustrates the number of bars in Italy as of 2015, broken down by region. According to the study results, Lombardy was the region with the highest number of bars (over 29 thousand), followed by Lazio (nearly 18 thousand) and Campania (over 15 thousand). By contrast, there were only 548 and 930 bars in Aosta Valley and Molise, respectively. These were the only two Italian regions with less than a thousand bars.
