The source adds the following information: "The ranking, based on the weekly consumption declaration, presents the consumption of beer at least once a week during the last 12 months.

To limit the effects of age and sex in the assessment of a regional difference, it is tested on standardized data. Standardization consists of setting the demographic structure of the region on a reference structure (here: the national sample).

* Significant difference between the region and the other regions for the year studied, with risks of error from 1 % ; ** 5%; *** of 0.1%.

Methodology:
The INPES survey is a repeated cross-sectional telephone survey, based on a large sample (approximately 30,000 people). Data for Corsica have not been recorded. The survey is based on the statements of the respondents.
