Mexico: renewable electricity generation capacity 2019, by source

In 2019, renewable sources accounted for approximately 29.4 percent of Mexico's installed electricity generation capacity (79.6 megawatts). Hydroelectricity had the highest contribution, accounting for 15.8 percent of the generation capacity in the Latin American country. Nevertheless, the contribution of wind and photovoltaic electricity have been increasing in Mexico, reaching 7.49 and 4.37 percent, respectively.
