Italy: most avoided food ingredients in 2016 This statistic displays the most avoided food ingredients in Italy in 2016. According to survey results, about two thirds of respondents did not appreciate food containing antibiotics or hormones artificial colors, as well as artificial colors. Overall 60 percent of respondents tried to avoid GMOs, while 30 percent of individuals preferred sugar free food products in their diet.
