The survey’s aim was to find out investors’ attitudes towards environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria and their inclination to carry out socially responsible investments (SRI). Particularly, in the given statistic, Italian private investors were asked to which extent the financial performance of a company was relevant to them. As of the survey period, 44 percent of the interviewed investors stated that a company's financial performance was very important while choosing where to invest in SRI products.
