Sweden: smokers, by frequency and age group 2016

This statistic shows the result of a survey on smokers in Sweden in 2016, by frequency and age group. That year, the share of smokers in total was highest for the youngest age group and reached 25 percent. Out of this group, 11 percent smoked daily, while 14 percent were sporadic smokers. 12 percent of people aged 50 to 64 percent stated to be smokers, closely followed by 11 percent of 30 to 49 year olds being smokers in Sweden.
