This statistic shows the number of company dissolutions and bankruptcies in the construction industry in the Netherlands from 2007 to 2016. As of 2016, there were around 11,547 bankruptcies and dissolutions in the construction industry in the Netherlands, over 1,500 more than the year before. The highest amount was seen in 2011, when 13,985 companies in the construction industry went bankrupt or were dissolved. As of 2016, the number of active construction companies reached a total number of approximately 175,600, over 5,000 companies more than in 2015.
