This statistic shows the result of a survey on entrants in treatment for substance abuse problems in Denmark in 2015, by type of drug. That year, the majority of entrants (76.9 percent) was in drug treatment because of cannabis abuse, followed by 7.1 percent of entrants naming cocaine. Other opioids were the third most common reason for being in treatment, with a share of 6.9 percent.
