Italy: social media influence on consumer purchasing decisions 2017 This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in Italy as of December 2017 whose aim was to find out whether Italian consumers' purchasing decisions were influenced by the celebrities they follow on social networks. As of the survey period, roughly 82 percent of respondents declared that celebrities' posts on social networks had no effect on their buying behavior.
