Primary production and gross consumption of solid biomass in France 2012-2021
In 2021, France's primary energy production from solid biomass amounted to 10.75 million metric tons of oil equivalent, whereas consumption stood at nearly 10.9 million metric tons of oil equivalent. Both production and consumption figures increased when compared to the previous year, up from approximately 9.77 and 9.82 million metric tons of oil equivalent, respectively.
