Perceived reliability of information sources in Italy 2021
During a 2021 survey, 28.1 percent of Italian respondents deemed the country's main TV channels to be a reliable source of information. Online news websites such as portals and specialized sites were considered to be reliable by 23 percent of respondents, while printed and online newspapers were trusted by 22.6 percent of interviewees. 15.4 percent of respondents trusted social media and 11.2 percent trusted magazines.
