Monthly motorcycle sales in Italy 2017-2020

In December 2020, some 7,630 new motorcycles and scooters were registered in Italy. The overall sales tally in 2020 dropped to just over 218,600 units, a dip of close to six percent compared with the previous year. April was the month which saw the steepest slump in sales, figures falling by almost 97 percent compared to that same month in 2019. This is in part due to the economic downturn generated by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
