This statistic displays the average vacancy rate of retail centers in Great Britain in 2017, broken down by region. Over the time period observed, retail centers in three of the regions (North West, South West and East Midlands) saw a decline in their share of vacant floor space, while the remaining regions saw an increase. In Greater London retail centers increased their vacancy rate by 1.5 percent overall, representing the largest increase within the British regions.
