This statistic displays the distribution of the supermarket revenue in the Netherlands between 2002 and 2016, by length of the visit. Of the total supermarket revenue, less than five percent was generated by consumers spending less than five minutes in the supermarket. On the other hand, over 30 percent of the total revenue was generated by consumers taking over an hour for their supermarket visit.
