This statistic depicts the results of a survey conducted in Italy among banks, FinTech companies and other financial institutions as of 2017. The aim of the survey was to find out how banks and financial institutions were planning to respond to the growth of the fintech sector in order to adapt and reduce the impact of digital and technological innovations on their business models. As of the survey period, 95 percent of respondents claimed that they are going to invest in data analytics in the following 12 months. Other 35 percent declared they are going to focus on cyber-security, while for further 30 percent of respondents, investments in artificial intelligence are a priority.
