Installed electricity generation capacity by the state sector in India 2007-2021
During financial year 2021, India's installed electricity generation capacity by the state sector amounted to nearly 104 gigawatts. The South Asian country is the third largest producer as well as consumer of electricity in the world, with a national electric grid of approximately 382 gigawatts of installed generation capacity.
