This statistic depicts the results of the Eurobarometer survey carried out in Italy as of 2017 whose aim was to find out people's perceptions of climate change as a global problem. Specifically, people were asked to indicate the actions they have personally undertaken to fight climate change. As of the survey period, 69 percent of the interviewed Italians declared they tried to reduce their waste and separate it for recycling. Other 37 percent of the respondents claimed they bought locally produced and seasonal food. Conversely, nine percent of the respondents stated they have not done any individual step to tackle climate change issues.
