Health status perception in Italy 2005-2022

In Italy, the health status perception of people aged 15 years and older improved significantly from 2005 to 2022. According to data, the share of individuals feeling good or very good about their health status increased from 58.1 to almost 73 percent throughout the analyzed period. Moreover, the share of people that perceived their health status as bad or very bad reached about 6.7 percent in 2022, more than three percentage points less than 15 years before.
