Share of individuals suffering from hypertension in Italy 2015-2020
The share of individuals suffering from hypertension in Italy increased between 2015 and 2020. According to the data, in 2015 the percentage of people affected by high blood pressure was equal to 29.2 percent, while in 2020 it reached 30.1 percent. The year before, 31.7 percent of general practitioners' patients in Italy suffered from hypertension, the highest figure recorded in the period under consideration.
