Leading media & publishing companies in Brazil 2021, by revenue
In 2021, Globo Comunicação e Participações S.A. – one of the main companies within the media conglomerate known as Grupo Globo – ranked first in the media and publishing sector in Brazil, with net revenue of over 14 billion Brazilian reals. Editora Globo, part of the same holding, placed seventh with a 783-million-real revenue. Record, owned by the Macedo family, which also runs the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, ranked second with more than 2.9 billion reals in revenue.
