Inbound tourism volume in Antigua & Barbuda 2010-2021
Antigua and Barbuda, an island country part of the Lesser Antilles, experienced a strong drop in the number of international visitors in 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 impact on tourism. In that year, less than 400 thousand travelers arrived to this Caribbean destination, which is less than half of the tourism volume recorded in 2019. This trend continued with the number of international tourists in Antigua and Barbuda reducing to approximately 252.22 people in 2021.
