Value of unlikely-to-pay exposures among banks in Italy H1 2019

This statistic provides information about the value of unlikely-to-pay (UTP) exposures among the Italian banks as of the first half of 2019. Unlikely-to-pay exposures are a subcategory of non-performing loans and, more particularly, these are to be considered loans in respect of which banks believe the debtors are unlikely to fully meet their contractual obligations unless additional enforcement of guarantees is taken. According to data, in the first half of 2019, the loans offered by UniCredit and classified as unlikely-to-pay amounted to roughly 14.4 billion euros.
