This statistic depicts the result of a survey on the share of individuals limiting water and energy consumption in Italy as of March 2017, by geographical area. According to survey data, people living in the North were more sensitive towards energy and water saving issues, than individuals from the Center-South and the Islands. Accordingly, 71 percent of respondents from the North-East declared to put in place actions to reduce energy and water use, whereas only 54 percent of people living in the Islands stated so.
