This statistic shows the number of managers in IT, logistics, R&D, real estate, construction, engineering and manufacturing sector in Sweden in 2017, by type of occupation. The number of level two operation managers in the sector for building, construction and mining was highest, reaching 14.9 thousand people. Level two production managers in manufacturing amounted to a number of 12.7 thousand people and eight thousand people were employed as level two IT managers.

According to the Swedish Standard Classification of Occupations 2012 (SSYK 2012), which is a system for classifying and aggregating data about occupations in administrative registers or statistical surveys. The skill level reflects the type of working tasks and their complexity. Level 1 covers elementary education at primary school level. In a Swedish context, this means no or a low formal education requirements. Level 2 covers education programs at upper secondary and tertiary level of no more than 2 years in length.
