Italy: equity capital provided by foreign companies 2012-2016
This statistic provides information about the equity capital invested by international firms in private equity deals in Italy in selected year from 2007 to 2016. It can be observed that the capital invested by foreign companies in Italian private equity funds added up to approximately 2.5 billion euros as of 2007. The value of private equity investments fell dramatically to 582 million euros in 2012. The invested capital rose again in the following years, being assessed at about 1.8 billion euros by the end of 2016.
