Number of ATMs in Spain 2016

This statistic illustrates the number of automatic teller machines (ATMs) owned by the three domestic schemes in Spain by the years end of 2016, as per report published by Payments Cards & Mobile. ServiRed, which included 101 members, such as BBVA, Banco Sabadell and Bankia had the most ATMs with a total of over 32.4 thousand in 2016.

** Euro 6000 - represented eleven banks in 2017, including Kutxabank, Casasur, Abanca, Ibercaja, BMN, Liberbank and Unicaja. Other Euro 6000 members are CECA Bank, Cofidis, EVO Banco, PSP Pagantis and Cardtronics (US).

*** ServiRed - Covered 101 members including BBVA, Banco Sabadell, Bankia, Bankinter, CaixaBank, Abanca, CaixaBank Payments, Deutsche Bank and many Caja banks. In total, 67 of its members were shareholders of ServiRed in 2017.

**** Sistema 4B - Had several of the large commercial banks in membership (total: 19). The largest members are Banco Santander with Santander Consumer Finance and Banco Popular. Other members include ING Bank, Banco Cetelem, Targobank, Oney Banca, Santander Elavon Merchant Services, Universal Pay (Popular Payments), Carrefour Banca, Andbank, Open Bank and Banca March.
