Peru: hospitalizations for infectious & parasitic diseases 2011-2017
In 2018, the number of males hospitalized due to infectious and parasitic diseases in Peru amounted to nearly 16 thousand, approximately 1,000 more than the number of females hospitalized by the same reason. In comparison to the previous year, the number of men and women admitted to the hospitals due of infectious and parasitic diseases decreased by six percent for men and nearly 5.8 percent for women.
