This statistic illustrates the average per capita daily time spent traveling by the mobile population in Italy on weekdays in the period from 2002 to 2016, broken down by occupational status. According to the findings, the self-employed traveled the longest time, spending on average 63.6 minutes traveling each day. This was larger by about 17 minutes than the figure for housewives (46.1 minutes per capita).
