This statistic displays the new contracts awarded to Italy based oil and gas industry contractor Saipem SpA in 2016 and 2018, by sector. The majority of contracts awarded to Saipem were in the engineering and construction sector. In 2016, 5.3 billion euros was awarded for Offshore engineering and construction. This declined to 4.2 billion euros in 2018.
