Knife possession offences by children resulting in a community sentence 2015-2017
This statistic displays the number of knife possession offences by children, resulting in a community sentence in England and Wales from the first quarter of 2015 to the third quarter of 2017. Whilst the number of community sentences fluctuated during the period observed, the trend was generally one of increase. In the first quarter of 2015 the number of community sentences amounted to 392, by the third quarter of 2017 this had increased to 591.
