This statistic shows the distribution of stationary and touring tourists in Norway in 2017, by region. In Oslo and Akershus, the most common type of traveler was a short-stay tourist, with a share of 53 percent. In Northern Norway, the largest share was held by stationary tourists on longs stays (50 percent), while touring tourists on short stays were rather uncommon (12 percent).
