This statistic displays the result of a survey on the favored accommodation types by leisure travelers in Norway 2016, by nationality. Hotels or pensions were most popular among all travelers. The largest share was among tourists from the United States, with 94 percent of respondents that stated to have stayed there on their holiday trip in Norway in 2016. Camping on campgrounds was most popular among Dutch tourists (16 percent), while camping outside campgrounds was a common accommodation chosen by Germans (39 percent).
