Italy: opinion basic income guarantee 2018 This statistic depicts the opinion of Italians on the basic income guarantee, in Italy as of May 2018. A basic income guarantee (known also as basic income, citizen's income, unconditional basic income, universal basic income etc.) is a new kind of welfare program in which all citizens / permanent residents of a country receive from the government a regular, livable and unconditional amount of money. According to data, roughly 40 percent of the interviewed Italians were contrary to the introduction of citizen's income in their country.
