Germany added 7,304 megawatts worth of solar photovoltaic capacity in 2022, more than any other nation in the European Union. Poland followed, with an added solar photovoltaic capacity of 4,774 megawatts. All together, the EU-27 solar PV capacity additions installed in that year reached 32.8 gigawatts.
