This statistic displays the tourist expenditure on domestic trips in Norway from 1st quarter of 2017 to 4th quarter of 2019, by type of trip. Most money was spent on domestic travels during the third quarter each year. In the fourth quarter of 2019, Norwegians spent a total of 2.55 billion Norwegian kroner on long holiday trips and 4.92 billion Norwegian kroner on short holidays in their home country. The expenditure on business trips amounted to 5.17 billion kroner.
