Total S.A. is the only Big Oil company which successfully replaced all produced oil and gas resources in 2020. Despite the coronavirus pandemic proving a huge challenge for the industry, the French oil and gas supermajor was able to replace all of the oil it produced that year with new resources. U.S.-based gas liquids company ConocoPhilips followed with a resource replacement ratio of 92.5 percent.
